Greco in Rihanna’s corner

NEW YORK-BASED Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer and arranger Jimmy Greco has come out in defence of Barbadian superstar Rihanna over her “bad girl” image.
“I think it is a way of her expressing herself; as long as she is being true to herself and it is not a way of her rebelling. I think that when people are true to themselves and are allowed to express that, so be it. I support that,” Greco told the SATURDAY SUN.
The manager of Canadian pop singer Kaya has also worked with big names like Jennifer Lopez, Carlos Santana and Celine Dion. He was full of praise for the Barbadian artiste.
“As an artiste, I think she is great. She has got a great voice, a great tone and she is absolutely beautiful.”
Speaking at Holders House where Kaya performed at the Virgin Atlantic 2012 Holders Season on Wednesday, Greco said: “I think Rihanna is great; I think she has had an amazing ride as an artiste.”
