Last Saturday night, NexCyx closed the curtain on 52811, its first ever full-length concert in Barbados.
From the moment the band hit the stage at The Ship Inn in St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church, the young and the young at heart made their way forward, to secure their vantage point.
The band also officially launched Queen that night.
“NexCyx is so thrilled to have been able to finally give our fans what they’ve been asking for. An audio collection of our songs and an uninterrupted concert featuring our band—all in one night,” said Mahalia, lead singer of the five member band who churned out hits during the 90-minute performance.
Among those spotted that night were cricket legend and former outstanding Barbados and West Indies fast bowler Joel Garner, Philip Forrester and Khiomal Nurse.
