WHILE?MOST of Barbados was celebrating the turn of the New Year, Charlene King was trying to come to grips with the loss of her home and possessions to an early morning fire.
She was not at home.
The uninsured two-bedroom wooden house she occupied in Parish Land, Christ Church, caught fire just after 3 a.m. yesterday.
The blaze also caused minor damage to a nearby house occupied by another family member.
