IT was just another day at the office for tennis’ top seeds.
One day after top-ranked pro Darian King strolled to the quarters, No.1 seed Melena Lopez went one better after dropping just a single game en route to the Girls 18s title of the CIBC FirstCaribbean Championships.
Playing at her training base, the Ocean View courts yesterday, Lopez more than made herself at home by slamming Jamie Lewis 6-0, 6-1 in yesterday’s final.
The top ranked player cruised to yet another junior title in less than an hour’s worth of work.
In this Kenmore Bynoe photo, Lopez winds up to slam another double forehanded winner in her one-sided match yesterday.
