Soca queen Alison Hinds went back home to Christ Church Foundation School yesterday. She was the centre of attention at the full assembly and opening ceremony for African History Month, where she was honoured and named ambassador for the school.
Hinds received a warm welcome from the student body when she took to the podium.
She encouraged students to be proud of where they came from and to strive to be the best they could be.
Hinds told of her love for singing from an early age and how she followed that passion by joining Square One – and the rest is history. (YB)
