JAMAICAN CHANTAL SHAUNALEE WHYTE is expected to appear in District B Magistrates Court today to answer several drug charges.
Whyte, a 20-year-old hairdresser, has been charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of five pounds of marijuana.
She arrived at Grantley Adams International Airport last night from Jamaica and was interviewed by Police. A search by Customs was negative and she was handed back to the police officers who conducted a further search.
Whyte was carrying a cardboard box containing two packs of bread. The cannabis was discovered in the bread and she was arrested. (PR/SAT)
