Move over, The Careenage.
A super yacht marina is about to grace Bridgetown.
It will be the latest move by Government in its sports tourism initiative as Barbados tries to become the region’s No.1 destination for sailing.
Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler made this disclosure Wednesday night during the awards ceremony of the 2014 Mount Gay Round Barbados Race Series, at the Beach House in Holetown, St James.
“We will start this year the construction of a super yacht marina in Bridgetown, so that you can have as many berths as you require for your vessels.
