Airline leaves patrons blue

A SNOWSTORM that is expected to pack at least a foot of snow on several cities in the United States grounded several flights yesterday, leaving thousands of passengers stranded.
President of the National Council of Parent-Teacher Associations, Rhonda Blackman, was among those stranded at the John F. Kennedy International Airport after the Barbados-bound JetBlue flight was one of the reported 355 flights cancelled.
Stating that she was away for a few days for medical reasons and was staying in a hotel, Blackman said she had not budgeted for an extended stay and was not happy with the service from JetBlue staff.
Blackman claimed passengers were told that the cancellation was an “act of God”.
