Dodridge Miller, president and chief executive officer of the Sagicor Financial Corporation, believes that once the financial environment settles in the Caribbean, growth will be in excess of ten per cent.He was speaking yesterday during a teleconference to discuss the group’s financial results for the six months ended June 30 at the Sagicor Corporate Centre, Wildey, St Michael.Miller noted that he was excited about all the markets in which the company operated. “They all have opportunities and they all have challenges of a different nature. I expect that the United States and the United Kingdom will grow faster than the region.” For the year so far, Sagicor has recorded net income to shareholders of US$12.6 million with strong total comprehensive income of US$58.3 million.
