THE cricketing and sporting fraternity is being asked to come out and support one of their own tonight.
The occasion marks a fund-raiser to assist Errol Barrow, who is being treated at a hospital in Canada for an advanced stage of facial cancer.
Barrow, who captained the Lodge School cricket team and also represented BET, now LIME, in Division 1 cricket, is seeking financial assistance to obtain reconstructive surgery for his face.
A fête will be held at Cricket Legends of Barbados, Fontabelle, from 9 p.m. with a wide group of DJs and former Lodge School students rallying to the cause.
A contribution of $20 is being asked for at the door. Donors can enjoy the vibes from Cross D Sound Systems, Dave Smooth, Exodus, Alvin Toppin, Prodigy Inc., Schoolboy and the lone non-Lodge graduate – Li’l Rick.
An account has also been opened at the Bank of Nova Scotia with the account number of 70565-806698 where people can make donations. (KB)
