School’s record of excellence lauded

Charles F. Broome Memorial Primary School has been encouraged to continue being the salt and the light of formative education in Barbados.
 The charge came from Dean of St Michael’s Cathedral, Dr Frank Marshall, as he addressed staff and students at a 36th anniversary service at Government Hill yesterday morning.
Marshall reminded the students of their school’s proud reputation and accomplishments in academics and sports.
 “To excel, you have to go beyond the average, but it also took love of self and others for your teachers over the years to achieve such excellence,” he stated.
