ALEXANDRA SCHOOL principal Jeff Broomes traded his pen for a shovel yesterday, as part of a role reversal involving student leaders and the ancillary staff.
Broomes joined students to clean up the school’s surroundings, but still wearing a tie in the intense heat of the day, his was not an easy job.
The exercise was part of the school’s Founders’ Day week of celebrations.
