Vybz Kartel charged

Dancehall artiste Adijah Palmer popularly known as Vybz Kartel has been charged with illegal possession of ganja. The artiste was taken into police custody early this morning during a major operation by the Flying Squad at a small hotel in Kingston. Head of the Criminal Investigation Branch Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ealan Powell, said a woman and two other men were also arrested. The three have also been charged with illegal possession of marijuana. ACP Powell said Vybz Kartel is also being questioned in connection with other crimes.
