Police detectives attached to the Southern Division have made another breakthrough into a number of burglaries that were committed in the parish of St. Philip.
Ryan Jeffrey Chandler, 26 years of Atlantic Park, Belair, St. Philip, was arrested and charged for 8 counts of burglary, which occurred between January and September 2011.
Property recovered as a result of the investigation included: Laptops, jewellery, a camcorder, a mobile phone, a television, a DVD player.
On Monday September 26, 2011, Chandler appeared at the District C Magistrate Court before Magistrate C. Birch and pleaded guilty; he is to reappear at the same court in 28 days pending a pre-sentencing report.
