Boys hang tough

If passersby thought this group of young men was simply skylarking near the Bishop Court Hill/Collymore Rock junction, St Michael, they would only be partly right.
The young men, known as  the 4 Run Family or the Gym Boyz, were in fact keeping in shape by practicing various acrobatic feats  of strength, something they do on a regular basis.
However, they admitted that, at that point, they were simply wasting time while waiting for a friend.
They told the DAILY NATION they liked to practise parkour (a method of movement that is focused on moving around obstacles with speed and efficiency), flipping, B-boying (breakdancing) and flagging, which is mimicking a flag on a pole. They added they wanted to give a shout out to gymnastics coach  Corey Greenidge.
Here, Alex Lashley and Lee Knight showing an incredible display of flagging as the rest of the group looks on.
