The Farley brothers appear to be on a collision course for table tennis’ A Class title.
Trevor and Kevin Farley advanced to the semi-finals of the 2010 Barbados Table Tennis Association’s Classified Championships after intense victories at the Table Tennis Centre, Nursery Drive, on Thursday night.
But each will have to overcome one more opponent before a possible meeting in the finals.
Trevor overcame a sterling effort from Clifton Mark to win his quarter-final contest 11-9, 9-11, 14-12, 11-6, 11-2. In the other half of the draw, Kevin toppled Abbie “Playboy” Clarke 11-6, 8-11, 11-8, 11-8, 11-4.
In the semi-final, Kevin will come up against Aaron Barker who took out Charlie Lovell in straight games at 7, 8, 5, and 2.
Mark Dowell earned a semi outing with Trevor after beating Bryan Matthews 11-4, 11-7, 11-2, 7-11, 11-8. (PH)
