Gripping advice

The Barbados Badminton Association has been receiving plenty of international assistance recently to push the sport, particularly at the junior level, to even higher standards.
Last month British professional Donna Kellogg visited the island and conducted coaching sessions for many juniors as well as some of the national players. 
Yesterday saw the start of a similar exercise with Pan American director of coaching German Valdez of Peru and Badminton World Federation representative Fran Decal of Spain running sessions at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex.
More than 20 students from the Grantley Adams Memorial School took part in sessions with the international coaches who said they were very impressed with the natural talent of the youngsters.
