THE COMMUNITY of Jordans Tenantry, St George, is trying to come to grips with the murder of a young man from the area.
Shawn Nicholls, 22, was liming opposite the JT Sports Bar on Saturday when he was gunned down by a masked man. He subsequently died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Yesterday, the DAILY NATION spoke to his uncle Oliver Headley, who was in a reflective mood as he limed with friends near the spot where his nephew was shot.
“That evening was just a cool evening. The fellas would just hang out here, drink a li’l beer and play pool or the [arcade video] game,” he said. (CA)
