Windies in a spin . . . again

The West Indies’ heads were left spinning yesterday.
And it’s not like it was a surprise.
The inability of most regional batsmen to conquer spin stuck out like a sore thumb for the boys in maroon on the first day of the first Digicel Test against Pakistan.
West Indies were 209 for nine at the close in Georgetown, Guyana, on a day when many batsmen got solid starts, but were eventually undone by the slow stuff.
Several West Indies batsmen got starts, but none carried on.
