Registrar of the Barbados Community College (BCC), Roger Worrell, is assuring students that once their college identification cards are up-to-date they will have no issues gaining access to the campus.
His assurance came in response to claims made by several students in the associate degree in social work programme, who contacted the Weekend Nation to complain that they were being disadvantaged by the college.
The students, who asked for anonymity, said they were engaged in payment plans with the BCC to clear their balances, but charged that they were recently informed if all outstanding fees were not paid by February 3, their access to the Howells Cross Road, St Michael institution would be barred.
This comes after a letter regarding access to the college, signed by Worrell, was circulated last week. (SDB Meda)
