IT WILL be on your mark, set and go at the National Stadium from this morning as repairs have been completed on the track.

With Mondo official Victor Taschini and local help wrapping up work on the track on Sunday, St George Secondary School will be the first to christen the refurbished track when they stage their house championships at the venue today.

Yesterday, Taschini and his local crew made some finishing touches to the repairs after the expert missed his flight out of the island on Sunday.
The damaged areas at the start of the 100 metres as well as the finish line and the long jump run-up were all replaced. (KB)
