Joseph looking to 2024 Olympics

Promising young Barbadian cyclist Amber Joseph is looking at the bigger picture.

Although the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has complicated everyday life, the gutsy Joseph is remaining confident she will ride her way to a spot at the 2024 Olympic Games. amber-joseph-081017

The 20-year-old, who gained a gold and silver medal for Barbados during the Pan American Cycling Championships in Mexico in 2017, didn’t initially have her eyes on this year’s now postponed Tokyo Games.

But she revealed to Sun Sport that she believed her growth in a single year could have seen competing at the Games, which are now slated for 2021, become a reality. (RG)
