Barbadians flocked to Browne’s Beach in St Michael on Sunday morning.
Many of the beachgoers were relatives, since this was one of the only outings they would have for Mother’s Day this year, as a result of curfew restrictions imposed by Government to limit the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Some arrived from 6 a.m. They swam, exercised, ate and lounged on the sand until 9 a.m.
Last Monday, May 4, the beaches were reopened for use only between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., under Government protocols to contain COVID-19. (TG)
