Second week with no new COVID cases in Barbados

No one has tested positive for COVID-19 since May 22.

Barbados has therefore ended a second week with no more cases of the viral illness as all 58 people tested yesterday were negative.  

Meanwhile, none of the four people in isolation will be released today.

As a result, the number of persons who have recovered remains at 81.

Ninety-two people tested positive since the first two cases were diagnosed on March 16 and seven died.

Up to yesterday, the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory completed 5 870 tests for COVID-19. (BGIS)
