Two males are the latest to test positive for COVID

Barbados recorded two more cases of COVID-19 out of the 205 tests conducted yesterday. 

A 37-year-old male visitor, who arrived on a British Airways flight on August 11, was positive after his second test. The other is a 25-year-old Barbadian male who arrived on a British Airways flight on August 18. 

Both are asymptomatic.

This brings the total number of cases to 155 – 81 females and 74 males.

One person will leave the Harrison Point isolation facility today after testing negative for a second time. The number of people who recovered from the viral illness now stands at 123 and 25 remain in isolation.    

To date, the Best-dos Santos Laboratory has completed 14 879 tests. (BGIS)
