Three men, one woman remanded

Three men and one woman were remanded when they appeared in the District A Magistrates Court on Saturday morning, charged in connection with several incidents which occurred between July 16 and August 14, 2020.

They are Edward DaCosta Gollop, 48, of School Lane, Halls Road, St Michael; Ayla Nikita Harewood, 33, of the same address, the lone woman; Michael Keenan Blackett, 26 years of Block 2C, Flat Rock, St George; and Dwayne Errol Walcott, 40, of Bamboo Road, St Lawrence, Christ Church.

Police from the Major Crimes Unit and the Antigun and Gangs Unit jointly charged Gollop and Harewood with possession of one AP15 rifle, one Glock pistol, 26 rounds of .223 ammunition and six rounds of .40 ammunition on August 14.

Gollop and Blackett were jointly charged with violent disorder and three counts of endangering life on July 16 during a shooting incident at School Lane and Gollop has a separate charge of use of a firearm.

The four men are also charged with arson on August 5.

They were remanded until September 26 when they appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick. (PR/SAT)
