Every artist at the Democratic Labour Party’s (DLP) 63rd anniversary gospel concert brought the audience to their feet with energetic performances.

The concert, held at the feet of the Errol Walton Barrow statue in Independence Square, The City, generated a crowd of over 300 people.

During the acts, adults and children were spotted singing and dancing.

The performers were Sister Marshall, Trinity Clarke, the Soul Winners, Neesha Woods, Kristojay Paul, Allison Norville and Pastor John Yarde.

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports and DLP campaign spokesman Stephen Lashley said morality was a major part of his party’s political message, adding it was fitting to start their campaign on a traditional and religious note to honour the heroes of Barbados. (SB)
