Share post:

The public is advised that the notarisation of documents and affixing of Apostilles will not be carried out by the registrar, deputy registrar or assistant registrar of the Supreme Court until further notice.

In the interim, there are a number of Government officials who are notaries and the heads of those departments can affix Apostilles.

They are the Solicitor-General; Deputy Solicitor-General; the Supervisor of Insolvency; and the Permanent Secretaries in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Home Affairs, International Business and the Office of the Attorney General.

The Deputy Permanent Secretaries in these Ministries can also perform the required duties. (BGIS)
