Early morning crash leaves man dead

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a road fatality which occurred around 2:53 this morning, along Four Roads, St John. It resulted in the death of a 41-year-old St John man. 

Preliminary investigations are suggesting that 41-year-old Carson Atkins of Foster Hall, St John was the front seat passenger of a car which was driven by 29-year-old Christopher Skeete, also of Foster Hall, St John. The other vehicle was driven by 34-year-old Kera Deane of Todds Development, St George.

The vehicles collided and as a result both drivers complained of various injuries and were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical treatment. Both vehicles were extensively damaged. 

The police are making an appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this accident or can provide any information to assist in these investigations, to contact the District ‘C’ Police station at telephone 416-8200 or 416-8201. (PR)
