Victor Walton, the public service vehicle driver found in St Lucy with two bullets in his head, died on Friday after being on life support for a week.

One of his sisters, Juliette Walton said she was too distraught to speak, while another sister, Janelle Jordan said the death was unexpected as they were hoping he would pull through.

She said they wanted who killed her brother to be brought to justice and they were planning a candlelight vigil soon.

The slain PSV driver, 56, lived in Haynesville, St James, and usually worked the Oistins, Christ Church, route.

That day he was working the Checker Hall, St Lucy, route when he was shot and robbed.

The initial police report was of an accident, but after medical examinations, two gunshot wounds to the head were found.

He was the father of a 12-year-old son.
