Pride 336-3 in their 1st Innings against Scorpions at lunch

Barbados Pride were 336 for three, replying to Jamaica Scorpions first innings total of 328, at lunh on the third day of their second round match in the West Indies Championship on Thursday at Kensington Oval.

At the interval, Pride captain Kraigg Brathwaite was not out on 181, eyeing his third first-class double hundred, and Jonathan Carter was not out on 32.

Brathwaite has batted for close to 7 1/2 hours, faced 298 balls and hit 14 fours and has so far shared 63 – unbroken – for the fourth wicket with left-hander Carter.

Starting the day on 243 for two, Pride lost Raymon Reifer in the first hour when he was lbw to off-spinner Jamie Merchant for 71, playing back and across. The left-hander batted almost 3 1/2 hours, faced 162 balls, and struck 10 fours and one six.
