St Michael North West cleanup begins

A massive bulk waste cleanup is underway in the St Michael North West area.

Workers with the St Michael North West Development Foundation have started the first of a two-day community clean-up project carting away bulk waste from areas that include Dodson Land, Carters Gap and Free Hill, all in Black Rock along with Pile Bay, and its surroundings.

The rubbish includes old refrigerators and other household appliances, car parts, wood and pieces of metal. Another cleanup, which is not the first of its kind, is scheduled for next Saturday for the other areas in the constituency. (AC)
