Mortgage fair attracts house hunters

Scores of potential homeowners are gathered on the grounds of Sagicor, Wildey St Michael for the Sagicor Mortgage Fair.

Over 20 exhibitors which include financial institutions, retail furnishing companies, law firms, and government agencies such as the National Housing Corporation are present to share information with the hopefuls.

During the opening of the fair, Minister of Housing and Lands Dwight Sutherland thanked Sagicor for bringing the initiative as he encouraged financial agencies to be more lenient with their lending.

The event will also feature workshops on modern home designs and designing and building for Hurricane resilience. (TG)
