Kickstart rush almost caused one of the major upsets of this year’s Barbados Football Association Premier League season against star-studded Ensure Max Protein Weymouth Wales but the defending champions salvaged a 1-1 draw with a late equaliser.

Midfielder Mikolai Dzaizhko gave Kickstart the lead in the 82nd minute when he stormed way into the Wales’ penalty area minutes after an intense session of exciting end-to-end football.

Wales’ goalkeeper Kishmar Primus will feel hard done by the situation leading to the goal as he made three brilliant back-to-back saves from close range within in the space of 30 seconds.

Dzaizhko took the first shot at Primus which was deflected to his teammate Nathan McCollin, who fired the second shot on goal but which was again blocked by Wales’ custodian.
