Barbados’ newest millionaire Mark Forde is $1 840 000 richer after winning the Mega 6.
Forde collected his cheque this morning from the Barbados Lottery where he said in shock, “I could not believe I’m now a millionaire”. He noted the win was timely and will be invested into his business.
The millionaire purchased the winning ticket from the Rubis Gas Station at Market Hill.
“I was shocked and amazed when I drew the number 5409 on Thursday, September 5. When the winning numbers 07-11-16-17-21-22 were announced it made me an instant millionaire,” Forde said.
Mega 6 is one of the games of The Barbados Lottery and it has paid out over $6.5 million in winnings so far for 2024.
