Police have arrested and charged 22-year-old Juneil Shaquel Holder of Hinds Gap, Halls Road, St Michael in connection with the murder of Andrew Prescod of Welches, Oistins, Christ Church.
The 34-year-old died as a result of a gunshot injury he received to his head while liming with friends in Silver Hill, Christ Church on October 20, 2017.
Prescod was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance but succumbed to his injury on October 22.
Two women, ages 21 and 29, also received gunshot injuries during the shooting.
Holder faces additional charges of two counts of serious bodily harm, one count of endangering life and one count of use of a firearm.
He is expected to appear in the Oistins Magistrates Court today. (PR/NB)
