PHIL HEATH, the colossus of Colorado, who has towered over bodybuilding for the last decade, will thunder on stage in Barbados this weekend with 270 pounds of muscle.

Heath, the seven-time king of Mr Olympia, the ultimate jewel in the pro ranks, says that fans will be in for a guest-posing treat at the Darcy Beckles Invitational Classic on Saturday night at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

“I am going to be rocking the stage with about 270 pounds of muscle. I am going to be eating some of your great food, but being in this type of climate with the humidity the way it is, I will be able to sweat out whatever water I attained on the flight, so I am pretty excited about Saturday night,” said the affable Heath, who arrived here just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday.

Heath and his girlfriend Shurie were met on arrival at the Grantley Adams International Airport by contest organisers Roger Boyce and Alicia Goodman.
