So far, so good. Regional triathlon appears to have gotten off to a great start at the CARIFTA level after the just concluded age-group meet received rave reviews over the weekend.
Barbados didn’t end up capturing the crown, but they won the hearts of all the competitors, coaches and fans following a two-day spectacle that lived up to the big billing.
It was non-stop action all around the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex, as spectators tried to see some of the region’s best in swimming, cycling and running from various vantage points. (JM)
