MEXICO is a fading memory. Brazil is the plan. The Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding Fitness Federation (BABBFF)is planning to make up for the cancellation of the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding And Physique Championships by sending a full team to the Arnold Classic South America in Brazil.
Acting president of the BABBFF, Dr Alfred Sparman told NATION SPORT the federation will leave no stone unturned in sending a team to Brazil next April.
“Missing out on Mexico would have been tough on the athletes after the months of hard work and preparation for the CAC Championships, so we are going to send a full contingent to Brazil next year at the expense of the federation. We are paying every cost, room, plane fare, the federation will take on that. The athletes are happy with that.
“This is the start of things to come. The federation has some big plans for the sport,” he said. (MK)
