As part of the Barbados Defence Force’s final We Gatherin’ celebration, they held an open day type event at St Ann’s Fort, themed Gatherin’ at the Fort.
The main attraction was a tour of the armoury where members of the public could see the vintage canon and weapons used in yesteryear, as well as hear the history of the items and of Barbados’ defence systems. The sometimes humorous tour was conducted by Lt David S Adamson with assistance from Lance Corporal Steven White.
