Nigel “Bounty” Pinder was remanded to Dodds Prison when he appeared in court today on five charges, including three counts of murder.

He was not required to plead to the indicatable charges of the murder of Randy Brathwaite, Junior Taitt and Shane Renaldo Parris, as well as conspiracy to murder both Taitt and Parris.

Pinder, 49, of Cox Hill, St Philip, appeared before acting Magistrate Angela Knight in the District C Magistrates Court, sitting at Oistins, Christ Church. He was remanded to reappear on October 8 on the three counts of murder along with four others who were previously charged.

Security was heavy in the Oistins complex, with both armed police and soldiers on duty. Pinder left in a six-vehicle convoy, bound for Dodds, St Philip.

He was represented by Senior Counsel Angella Mitchell-Gittens. (Nation News)
