HOTELIER ROBIN WALCOTT invited prospective buyers to the launch of the second phase of his Beach View condominium hotel at Paynes Bay, St James last week and several guests turned out for the cocktail event.

The concept of ownership of the hotel-style unit, which is then placed in the pool
of condos rented to holiday-makers, has already proven to be a successful venture for Walcott and those people who have invested in the first phase of Beach View, which overlooks the tranquil Caribbean Sea on the West Coast.

There were investors, bankers, other people from the business sector, and Robin and his daughters Carrie and Chelsey, along with Pooka Yhap, were gracious hosts.

Also there assisting with the pitch to interested Barbadian buyers who could afford to shell out between US$700 000 and US$800 000 for a unit, were real estate developer Sir Paul Altman and property valuer Terry Hanton. (GC)
