TONI ATHERLEY LED the charge as the Lady Cougars defeated Fusionz Boutique Lady Cavs 68-41 in the No. 1 Beauty Supplies Women’s Basketball League at Police Boys and Girls Club, Bay Street on Wednesday night.
The dynamic Atherley scored 32 points, netting seven of her 11 three-pointers, and grabbed 13 rebounds.
She had help from Tiffany Thorpe, who scored 14 points and ten rebounds, and Tricia Gill, who recorded nine points.
Cougars established a lead within the first minutes and increased that gap throughout the game. (RG)
