If your internet is moving slower than usual, its due to the passage of Hurricane Irma.

Flow Barbados said the system damaged its subsea fibre network.

This has resulted in some fixed-line customers experiencing slow internet speeds, buffering television and dropped calls.

“Please know our technical team is working assiduously to restore optimal connectivity levels in the shortest possible timeframe and we will continue to provide updates via media channels.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we continue to pray for the safe passage of those affected by Hurricane Irma,” the company said. (PR/NB)
