RECENT GUN VIOLENCE has plunged Barbados into a crisis, says a former attorney general.

Barbados Labour Party shadow attorney general Dale Marshall made the assessment in the aftermath of a shooting that claimed the lives of two St Philip men on Tuesday night.

“We are a country in shock. With the brutal shooting deaths of two young men in Marley Vale, St Philip, [Tuesday] night, we [are] now reeling from an unprecedented five gun-related homicides in this month alone, four in the last nine days.
