Gall Hill on edge

ANGELA FRANCIS JUMPS at the drop of a pin.

And it’s because she cannot live down the excessive gunfire that erupts in her district of Gall Hill, Christ Church. It happens too many times for her comfort.

The five holes from gunshots that decorate her house are a constant reminder that all is not well with her. And her children tell her so. 

“When I in there, the slightest thing I does get frighten. The other night somebody dropped a lighter outside and I was so stunned, they had to bring me some water. The children tell me, ‘Mummy, you got to stop being so jumpy’ but if people coming round here and shooting at your house, how I am supposed to react?” Francis asked. (TG)
