Frustration over show changes

ARE THEY ON OR OFF? This is the question from patrons who have bought tickets or are desirous of buying tickets for CARIFESTA XIII events.

Organisers of the ten-day festival have had major issues with the cancelling and rescheduling of events due to the passage of Tropical Storm Harvey last weekend, causing one day to be lost.

While some events have been well attended, and the Grand Market continues every day at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, dance, music and theatre have been the hardest hit, with some acts being cancelled, some having times adjusted, and others having no audiences at all.

With carifesta.net not functioning due to an overload of users, according to the festival organisers, they could not get the information out. (NS)
