ALBERT LEACOCK has been coming back to Barbados for years but this last time has left such an unpleasant taste in his mouth, he is contemplating whether he will return or not.

His ordeal began almost immediately on arrival here. He said he had caught the early JetBlue direct flight [from New York] and had landed in Barbados at around 4 a.m. on July 28.

“I was disembarking from the plane but whoever put the ramp there just push it and leave it – no lights, no supervision. It was raining heavily and as soon as I step on it, I slipped and fell from the top and bounced all the way to the bottom,” he said.

Leacock said he slid head first and bruised his ribs and his left leg, which ended up underneath the ramp. (CA)
