BODYBUILDING seems headed for another big showdown. Not at Nationals either.

Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (BABFF) president Manasseh King may have run afoul of the World Anti-Doping Code after reportedly failing to be compliant with the National Anti-Doping Commission (NADC) at July’s St Michael Classic.

According to a source close to the situation, two local doping control officers informed King of their intention to do drug testing at the show only to be met with resistance from the BABFF head.

Such an action would be deemed an anti-doping rule violation under article 2.9 of the World Anti-Doping Code titled “complicity”. (JM)
