BARBADOS HOTEL & TOURISM ASSOCIATION chief executive officer Rudy Grant gave this year’s Kadooment Day a passing grade, describing it as a positive day.

Speaking to the DAILY NATION just outside of the Togetherness Social Group lime at Station Hill, St Michael, yesterday afternoon he said he believed the day went well.

“Today has been a very positive and wonderful day. I’ve seen a lot of locals on the day, a lot of visitors as well. Kadooment is Crop Over’s signature event and it allows us to showcase our culture and the fact that we have locals and visitors participating is a positive thing,” he added.

Grant said he liked the fact that Kadooment gave people the opportunity to experience what the island was like in a carnival setting. (AD)
